How waterproof is the bike?

The XP 3.0, XP Lite, XPedition, XPeak, XP Trike, XPress, and the Lectric ONE's electrical components have an IP rating of 65! This means it is dust-tight and can withstand jetting water. See the IP code for more details.

IP or Ingress Protection ratings are defined in international standard. They are used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies (tools, dirt, etc) and moisture.

Use caution when riding in wet conditions as it will take longer to use the brakes to slow down, and also when turning as the tires may slip. The electrical components on the bike are not waterproof.

The warranty for all Lectric eBikes does not cover water damage.
