Replacement Keys

All of our bikes come with a battery, along with a set of keys. For security purposes, each battery has its own unique key pattern.

In the event that keys are lost or broken, they may need to be replaced.

We sell a set of blank keys for $20 USD. If you would like to purchase these, please reach out to our customer support team at 602-715-0907 or contact@lectricebikes.com

If you purchase blank keys, there are a few options depending on the situation: 

  1. In the event that one key was lost, a local hardware store should be able to copy the key.
  2. In the event that both keys are lost, and the battery is unlocked, a locksmith will need fit the keys to the locking mechanism of the battery. 
  3. In the event that both keys are lost, and the battery is locked in the bike, a locksmith may need to drill the battery out of the bike or fit the key to the locking mechanism. If drilling is required, the battery will need to be replaced, once removed.
Lectric eBikes recommends reaching out to the locksmith to ensure they have the proper tools and expertise to perform the repair
