Can my local bike shop work on my eBike?

Many, but not all, bike shops are experienced at fixing electric bikes. Some shops that do service e-bikes might not service the brand or type of e-bike you purchased, so it's important to verify their ability to provide service before making any appointments.
Once you have your bike and an experienced mechanic, you should organize a regular maintenance schedule.
Even if you take care of most of the bike's maintenance, it's still good to have a yearly tune-up by your shop.
