The E009 error is for the XP and XP Lite and is typically related to the controller. The controller is essentially the brain of your Lectric eBike, which is why it's important to make sure your controller wires are in good shape.

Once you have access to your controller, check each wire to make sure everything is fully connected, seated properly, and free from damage. Also, make sure to check that the wires are attached to the controller plate. This is the plate that is attached to the frame with four screws on the XP and five screws on the XP Step-Thru.
